LCN Offering Domains at Cost

Domain name registrar and hosting provider LCN announced today that it will offer UK domains names at cost price for a limited time this month. The offer applies to new and existing customers, who will be able to register any .uk domain extension for £2.50/$4.25 per year.

Mark Boost, Managing Director, LCN.com, said: “Last month we decided to lower registration and renewal prices permanently on all of our domain extensions. Reaction was extremely positive, with customers saving between 20 – 48 per cent on all domain purchases. We wanted to go one step further this month and provide the lowest domain prices any company can offer.”

An important side note for industry watchers: two weeks ago, UK Internet Service Provider, Advantage Interactive Ltd., announced the merger of LCN.com and Telivo.com which in effect created one of the largest domain registrars in existence.
