Mobile application testing provider DeviceAnywhere announced that Google’s Nexus One handset is the latest addition to its Test Center, an SaaS offering enabling developers to access mobile devices over the Internet for content development, testing, monitoring, certification, test automation and deployment.

“Application developers need timely access to next generation devices – faster access means a faster time to market, which is why we’re committed to providing access to the latest handsets available in the market,” said Faraz Syed, CEO and co-founder of DeviceAnywhere. “As ‘superphones’ and smartphones proliferate, and software and applications become increasingly central to the user experience, testing, test automation and monitoring is becoming more critical than ever.

DeviceAnywhere currently supports more than 2000 devices on over 28 different carrier networks worldwide, with locations in the U.S., U.K., Canada, France, Germany and Spain. DeviceAnywhere is offering a free, three-hour trial for developers to learn more about the system.
