CAGE Simplifies Collaboration for Designers, Clients

A new online collaboration tool that allows agencies, design teams and freelancers to share and present their work for creative review has recently launched in public beta.

CAGE was first released as an invite-only private beta during SXSW in March. While in private beta, CAGE attracted a number of designers from companies including Weber Shandwick, Ralph Lauren, Electric Pulp, Art Center College of Design, Ogilvy, nclud and Moleskine.

“CAGE eliminates the need for email threads, marathon client meetings and folders full of mockups and revisions,” CAGE co-founder Sandip Patel says. “It’s as simple as uploading your work and sharing a unique URL. From there, you can add notes and comments directly onto the work so that the conversation stays focused on the project.”

Stefan Hartwig, a partner at Electric Pulp, says, “We needed a simple way of presenting mockups and tracking feedback in relation to the interface. Cage scratches that itch and more.”

Onehub Announces Affiliate Program

Onehub, an online collaboration service announced its new affiliate program. In the words of Peter Prestipino, WM’s editor-in-chief, “This is the biggest payout I’ve seen.” Affiliates who recommend Onehub’s services to colleagues who then in turn sign up will reap the reward of 100 percent commission from the first month’s subscription fee. According to the release, affiliates can make as much as $499 per recommendation. This is the price of the Enterprise plan which is also the most expensive. Other available plans cost: $19 (Personal Edition), $49 (Basic), $99 (Team), and $249 (Professional).

Onehub allows users to upload, manage and collaborate on files, tasks, and calendar events. It includes a range of widgets for advanced functionality on each hub. In addition, users can brand their hubs with logos and company themes.

According to the announcement, Onehub currently works with more than 25,000 businesses to provide online collaboration. In addition, affiliates get access to all lead information and can follow up on their own.

"We've even provided marketing tools with built-in lead and opportunity tracking to make the entire experience seamless and uncomplicated for the affiliate," said Onehub founder and CEO, Charles Mount in the press release.
