New research into consumer views about online shopping compiled by PriceRunner.co.uk has shown that reviews of products and companies on websites are rated more highly (98%) than recommendations from friends (88%), and that the brand name is just as important as the product price.

Quepasa an online social community for young Latinos, today announced record growth in September traffic on Quepasa.com. During September, Quepasa.com's unique visitors exceeded 1.1 million, up more than 128% from August. User registration in September also hit a record high of more than 183,000 for the month, up 163% from August.
