Have you ever tried to explain how to do something through words, but couldn’t quite get your point across? Well, have no fear because Screenr is here.

Screenr is a free Web-based screen recorder that allows users to create and share screencasts. Once the record button is clicked, everything that a user does on the computer screen will be captured, plus the user’s voice is recorded so that the screencasts can be narrated.

The screencasts can be recorded on both Macs and PCs, and can be played everywhere – even on iPhones. The screencast videos can also be embedded into websites, put onto social media sites and can even be published onto YouTube.

Screencasts are great for sharing knowledge, revealing tips, showcasing new products and creating tutorials.

Screenr also has a business option, which is especially beneficial for support sites, software development, collaboration and sharing.

And to prove how simple creating a screencast is with Screenr, we created our own screencast introduction to the service below. Check it out!

But you don't need to record someone falling on their face, a hilarious dance video or exploding soda and mints to have a hit video. Some of the most viewed are tutorials. And you don't always need a video camera or actor. Screencasting is an excellent way to show users, step-by-step how to accomplish a task, use your software or navigate your site.

FreeScreencast.com is making it remarkable easy. With their free flash-based software you can select the portion of your screen you wish to record, make the screencast, upload it to their website, share it with the community and embed it on your own site. It's quick, simple and effective. And how's this for refreshing - you don't even have to give them your real email address. No spam, no hassles.
