The forums are flush this morning with news that both Yahoo! and Google are updating their indices. While few details are available there’s no real reason to panic as, at least on Google, it looks like a return to pre-summer positions.

Search Engine Roundtable pointed out that a Webmaster World thread has been ongoing over the weekend related to the Yahoo updates (which was last updated in June of 2009). SER also noted that Vanessa Fox, former Googler tweeted that on her sites, "Yahoo Slurp has super slowed down its crawl."

Google last updated in July of 2009.

Are you seeing changes in your rankings on Google or Yahoo! or in the crawl speed of Yahoo Slurp on your site? Comment below and share with WM readers what you're seeing on the SERP's.
