&lt;p&gt;Transactional advertising provider &lt;a href="http://www.adgregate.com/"&gt;Adgregate Markets&lt;/a&gt;, the creators of the rather innovative ShopAds technology, has announced a partnership with Gannett-owned &lt;a href="http://pointroll.com"&gt;PointRoll&lt;/a&gt; that will enable PointRoll&amp;rsquo;s digital marketing clients to integrate e-commerce solutions into their rich media ad campaigns across desktop and mobile platforms. Through the multi-year alliance, Adgregate becomes PointRoll&amp;rsquo;s partner for in-banner ads that feature secure e-commerce transactions through any publisher or ad network.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;Adgregate&amp;rsquo;s ShopAds allow for purchases directly within banner ads, shortening the path to conversion (&lt;a href="http://www.adgregate.com/showcase.html"&gt;see a demonstration here&lt;/a&gt;). The platform provides marketers with more insight into their target audience and increases consumer interaction time. According to PointRoll&amp;rsquo;s recent benchmarks report, rich media provides a 562-percent lift in response/return over standard ads and a 62-percent lift over flash banner ads. Depending on the campaign, including a direct-response element further increases response by 42 percent, with an additional 3-percent increase in brand time.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt; PointRoll joins a growing list of rich media providers that have selected Adgregate for in-banner e-commerce transactions, and the deal presents a significant partnership across the desktop and mobile environments.&lt;/p&gt;

Transactional-based advertising technology provider &lt;b&gt;&lt;a href="http://www.adgregate.com/"&gt;Adgregate Markets&lt;/a&gt;&lt;/b&gt; has announced an interesting partnership with &lt;a href="http://www.linkstorms.com"&gt;&lt;b&gt;Linkstorm&lt;/b&gt;&lt;/a&gt; wherein Adgregate&amp;rsquo;s ShopAds will become the only ecommerce solution integrated into Linkstorm&amp;#39;s Banner Xpander&amp;trade; - a banner ad with navigation meny overlays that displays on mouse roll-over.

ShopAds will enable Linkstorm to integrate e-commerce transactions into any Banner Xpander campaign, which allows consumers to browse, interact with, and purchase products directly within the ad unit. While the advertising technologists have teased us with this advancement for years, this is the first large scale integration I&amp;rsquo;ve come across.

Whether this will revolutionize the stagnant state of online display advertising is anyone&amp;rsquo;s guess, but it&amp;rsquo;s not a stretch to see how traditional banner ads are being transformed.
