Online store owners using Shopping Cart Elite (a hosted e-commerce solution) now have a means to automate their search engine optimization efforts (at least some of the on-site SEO) thanks to the new Visitor Generated SEO plugin.

When the plugin is activated for a particular store, each time a customer searches for something on the site, the search result page is turned into a static page and added to the website. That page then gets indexed by search engines and the website (conceivably) starts ranking for that particular keyword.

In the future, the plugin will take keywords used by customers to search for a website on Google, and then create SEO-friendly webpages with products using those keywords as the website title. The company claims the "auto-content generation" is strictly white hat.
