online website platform a few weeks ago I knew in my virtual heart of hearts
that there had to be more than the company was letting on to - and I was
right. SiteMasher today launched a partner program aimed at firms focusing
on website design, development, and brand marketing and consulting. Whether it's
the best opportunity for freelance web designers is yet to be seen, but
partnering with such website builder platforms (and especially one as strong out
of the Web box as SiteMasher) might be a great idea and one to investigate.

Sitemasher's partnership program has three tiers (registered, silver, gold)
depending on the number of websites published by the website design firm.
Benefits of the program vary by tier and include listing as a partner on the
Sitemasher partnership page, customer leads, a free subscription for the design
firm's website, varying levels of support, and volume discounts or commissions.

Sitemasher provides the platform for free to the development community and
partners receive a free Premium license for a year for their own company
website.

Contest
Sitemasher's newly released online website platform unleashes the design process
from the complexities of coding. To encourage both students and professionals to
experience this design freedom, Sitemasher today launched a free website design
contest that rewards the best in design, usability, functionality and ease of
maintenance.
EnCirca Announces Surge in .Pro Domain
Registrations
Today, EnCirca announces there has been a 100 percent surge in .pro domain
registrations since RegistryPro relaunched the domain one month ago. This
enormous surge in registrations demonstrates there is an unmet market demand for
professional service firms who wish to develop their online brand.

availability of its website building platform today. Before you shrug this off as "one
more solution to consider," know that this is perhaps one of the more
all-in-one offerings I have encountered in my ten-plus years on the
commercial 'Net. The platform provides not just a website builder, but a content
management system, built-in analytics, search engine optimization features and
website hosting in one tool. The biggest advantage of using Sitemasher is that
it enables everyone involved in the development and promotion of a website a way
to collaborate throughout the project lifecycle.

Sitemasher is built around the four primary roles in advanced Web design and
development: the business or site owner, site designer, information technology
expert and marketer or content person. As participants in these roles typically
operate in their own spheres and at their own pace, problems inevitably arise as
a site moves from vision through to development and ultimately towards
promotion. By establishing user-roles and workflows, site owners can minimize
accidents, align tasks with corporate workflow and in short, see what's working
and what's not.

Sitemasher hosts the tool as well as the website through its partner Peer1.
This provides all tools with the latest infrastructure, security, and hosting
requirements, including software maintenance, updates, and upgrades.
Introductory pricing starts at $99 a month for a basic account that includes two
users and a single published domain. A $249 a month program includes up to five
users as well as the ability to set different roles, and a $699 a month program
allows for unlimited users. At that price point, you better be sold on these
features.
