Social media analytics provider Visible Technologies has launched new updates to its Visible Intelligence platform that aim to help marketers more quickly assess, analyze and take action on trends, data and security issues.

With the new Trend Identification tool, marketers can select a brand, event or topic to view a snapshot of community dynamics through period-over-period post, author and site volume changes, as well as sentiment trending, top sites and relevant word clouds.

“Social media is becoming the most accessible and robust source of consumer insights for marketers,” said Richard Pasewark, CEO of Visible. “The insights generated from the VI platform along with these new features, help tie social media more closely to marketing programs, audience analysis, and influencer identification. As a result, marketers are able to position more effectively, engage consumers more directly, and drive marketing and sales improvements more rapidly.”

Other new features within the Visible Intelligence platform include:

Enhanced Reporting – Users can obtain immediate report generation to analyze data. Moreover, users can share key metrics and create reports, as well as export entire dashboard and Impact Summary snapshots to PDFs.

New Security Options – The platform's new security options allow users to add and remove colleagues, manage permissions, use Single Sign-On (SSO) to facilitate user access and set access to full workspace, dashboard only or engagement roles. Additionally, users can create private searches and dashboards that are only viewable to select team members.

Personalized Engagement – Users can manage priorities across the team by creating custom icons, queuing ownership assignments, leveraging enhanced metrics and new organizational capabilities.

Russian Sentiment – Social media analysis can be expanded to Russia with native-language sentiment processing. This adds to the list of other languages already supported, including German, Italian, Portuguese, Chinese and Korean.

Visible Technologies has also become a member of the Twitter Certified Products Program, which showcases solutions that can help businesses thrive on the popular social network.
