Web design company and e-commerce solutions provider SolidCactus has announced the release of its newest proprietary software, Cactus On Demand(TM), which aims to provide those in ecommerce with greater automation of the entire range of order fulfillment. "COD automates lots of the manual processes that e-commerce operators need to perform to get an order out the door," said Solid Cactus President Scott Sanfilippo. "Now businesses can automatically contact customers, charge credit cards, check inventory and send multiple items from multiple locations. In the past, each of these steps had to be done by hand or with an expensive service. We believe we've built the better mousetrap here."

Cactus On Demand is the latest in a suite of proprietary software developed by Solid Cactus for use in e-commerce. Other Solid Cactus products:

Feed Perfect: Released in February, 2007. Feed Perfect is a tool for managing comparison shopping engines. It allows the user to monitor down to the product level which items are converting so that non-performers can be removed from the data feed.

Shipping Manager: Released in October, 2006. Shipping Manager pulls real-time shipping rates for UPS, USPS and FedEx and allows the user to set shipping rules based on each item they sell. The result is to provide accurate shipping information to customers and businesses alike.
