&lt;p&gt;&lt;strong&gt;Finding the return on investment (ROI) from a social media campaign can be a difficult task, to say the least &amp;ndash; but it just got easier for HootSuite Enterprise clients.&lt;/strong&gt;&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;The popular social media management platform has announced a new integration with &lt;a href="http://webtrends.com/" target="_blank"&gt;Webtrends Analytics&lt;/a&gt;, which offers performance data that helps Web workers better evaluate the ROI of their social activities.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;The Webtrends reports can be customized to show connections between social messages and website conversions, which allow organizations to optimize their social strategies and compare their social ROI against other channels, such as SEM, email or display advertising. The integrated HootSuite-Webtrends capabilities are currently available for free to &lt;a href="http://hootsuite.com/" target="_blank"&gt;HootSuite&lt;/a&gt; Enterprise and Webtrends Analytics On-Demand clients.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;&lt;i&gt;&amp;ldquo;Every organization must continually evaluate and optimize the social media ROI of each department&amp;rsquo;s publishing and engagement efforts. &lt;p&gt;The integration essentially enables Web marketers to add ExactTarget tracking data into Webtrends Analytics Insight via WebTrends&amp;rsquo; RSS Overlay feature creating a visual display of key metrics data such as page views or time-on-site. The integration also allows marketers to instantly segment Webtrends data to create targeted messages through ExactTarget&amp;rsquo;s newest Audience Builder product.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;&amp;ldquo;With ExactTarget&amp;rsquo;s next generation of integration with Webtrends, marketers can unlock the power of their website data to create automated email and interactive marketing programs tailored specifically to the unique needs and preferences of customers or prospects around the world,&amp;rdquo; said Scott Roth, senior director of partner marketing and alliances at ExactTarget.&lt;/p&gt;

Customer intelligence company Webtrends introduced &lt;a href="http://www.webtrends.com/Products/Analytics.aspx?cid=70140000000IFRL"&gt;&lt;b&gt;Webtrends Analytics 9&lt;/b&gt;&lt;/a&gt; today. The company is calling this version the most significant advance in user experience and data integration in its 15-year history. How you ask? They&amp;rsquo;ve made &amp;ldquo;data the interface.&amp;rdquo;
&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;
The new version of Webtrends Analytics (9) is comprised of some pretty impressive features, most notably in its interface which is simply a complete rethinking of data exploration and visualization. For example, RSS overlays enable users to determine how marketing investments influence their website by visually overlaying data from any RSS feed on top of trending web metrics. Pretty cool, right? It gets better.
&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;
Another interesting feature of this version of WebTrends is its Story View. The feature enables users to automatically convert data and metrics into &amp;ldquo;non-technical narratives&amp;rdquo; that offer written context that graphs and charts can&amp;rsquo;t. The text can be downloaded and shared as PowerPoint, Word, and other formats.
&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;
&amp;ldquo;Webtrends has created an entirely new user experience that makes it remarkably easy for us to quickly retrieve and provide key decision makers with necessary web analytics data.
