There is a new niche social network in town, and it goes by the name of Nitch.

Nitch.biz is a B2B social networking site that allows businesses to join networks that are made up of industry peers. The free platform enables businesses to exchange information with peer groups in real time, review and bid out new vendors, as well as receive targeted product and service offers for their business.

“Our goal is to help independent businesses save money, simplify the way they manage and source vendors, and share industry knowledge with one another in real-time,” says Nitch founder Michael Noble. “Also, our B2B vendors can generate positive reviews from their customers, get free leads sent from Nitch businesses that they can bid on, as well as micro-target their marketing messages and deals to specific industries. We believe it’s a win-win situation for both parties.”

Currently, the social network has 18 niches (or nitches), including restaurants, yoga studios, clothing retailers, salons, commercial printers, book stores and more. Additionally, new industries will be added each week based on suggestions from the business community.
