Live Chat Service ClickDesk Adds Skype Integration

ClickDesk, the live chat service currently employed by over 9000 businesses, recently enhanced its solution by integrating Skype functionality into it multichannel customer support plan.

The company was the first live chat software to integrate social communication and voice chat support into its platform, making the inclusion of Skype a natural progression.

Including Skype in its service allows customer agents using the ClickDesk platform to handle support requests from their Skype accounts; this means that the over 663 million Skype users will be able to quickly and efficiently deal with customer support issues as they occur.

"By allowing customer support agents to receive live chat and calls directly over Skype or GTalk, ClickDesk has significantly increased the number of touch points through which your agent can engage with visitors on your website," says ClickDesk's product evangelist Rocky Gupta.

ClickDesk was inspired to consider Skype functionality because the company believes that many of its clients are already using Skype for business endeavors, and that it is only going to continue to grow in popularity for foreseeable future.

Thanks for sharing. Just want to share Inside platform with you. I accidentally came across inside, and after looking through their site, it morphs a business website into a virtual storefront so business personnel can see and help their site visitors in real-time using chat.

That’s great news. Just like click desk I have come across live2support 6 years ago. As the click desk is one of the good live chat services same is with live2support. I just for trial had purchased the service from their website  I have no doubt in mentioning here that it was one of the best decisions that I have ever made. Using this service I have increased my online sales by 30 % and my whole support system performance oriented using its comprehensive reporting system.

Thanks for sharing. Their are many chat solutions on the market that rang in price and features. Most of the solutions will require you to have a second client and multiple windows open to reply and address the questions coming in. Similar to Click Desk, I have heard of one solution that ties in directly with the Lync/ Skype for Business client and that is Enabling WebChat. Supposedly when a customer clicks on the "live chat" button on the companies website, it will start a conversation that is hosted inside of the Skype for Business chat client. Agents will be able to respond using their Skype client. It appears to be a super cheap solution and allows for unlimited agents.
