Open Data Service (ODS) provider GoGrid recently announced 1-Button Deploy™, a feature that will enable its customers to evaluate and run an array of big data solutions.
Powered by Ansible, GoGrid's 1-Button Deploy orchestrates deployment of a multi-server Big Data cluster across GoGrid's virtual servers quickly, saving companies money and engineering resources while shortening time-to-market. GoGrid customers can now automatically deploy technologies including MongoDB, Basho's Riak, Cassandra, with Hortonworks and Hadoop scheduled to go live in March.
"Enterprises are eager to evaluate and implement the latest Big Data solutions, but until now, they haven't had the resources to do so quickly and easily," said GoGrid CEO John Keagy. "GoGrid's new 1-Button Deploy™ solution, combined with our Open Data Services platform, offers companies immediate access to the most advanced technologies on the largest server selection tailor-made for Big Data. Essentially, we give developers the keys to the Lamborghini, letting them drive best-of-breed Big Data solutions without spending valuable time and resources on setup."
