Square is helping merchants gain more customer insights, thanks to a new feature that turns digital receipts into a feedback channel.
The feature, dubbed Square Feedback, encourages customers to send feedback on their experience directly to the business owner through their digital receipt. Moreover, merchants have the ability to respond back, enabling them to resolve issues and retain their customers.
Through the feature, customers can give details about their experience with a tap of a button. Merchants receive an alert when a customer leaves a comment, and then they have the ability to respond and manage customer feedback with the Square Dashboard. The new feature costs just $10 a month and is available immediately.
