With Americans alone expected to spend $327 billion shopping online by 2016 merchants have no choice but to have a battle-tested shipping procedure in place to quickly distribute their goods to consumers.
ShipStation, a Web-based e-commerce shipping solution, has announced the release of a new integration with Square, the popular credit card reader used by many small businesses.
Through the new integration, merchants that leverage Square will be able to take advantage of ShipStation’s discounted USPS rate and quick label processing. Also, thanks to the new integration merchants will be able to add ShipStation to their Square accounts with as little as one click. Merchants can begin their journey with ShipStation by heading to the marketplace in the Square app.
“It’s not a stretch to say this is a best-in-class integration,” says Nathan Jones, ShipStation’s CEO. “Launching with Square was a dream. The robust nature of the APIs, and the strong Square development team helped make the integration process faster and more complete, to further enhance the customer experience.”
