AddThis is helping its Pro subscribers get personal, as the content engagement platform has unveiled new audience targeting capabilities that enable brands to deliver more personalized content and offers to site visitor.
The new audience targeting tool leverages insight from 1.8 billion unique users across the Web and is designed to improve engagement, increase conversions and boost revenue for website owners. With the tool, site owners are able to personalize a visitors' experiences based on factors such as the websites they are coming from, the devices they’re using and their specific interests.
In fact, the tool can be leveraged to present each website visitor with offers, coupons or other calls-to-action based on previous online activities. For instance, an information publisher could use the AddThis audience targeting tool to create a welcome message or offer for first time visitors, as well as a separate greeting for visitors interested in a specific content category.

AddThis notes that it has an advantage when it comes to delivering personalized content to website visitors because the company’s data pool reaches 98 percent of the Internet population in the United States and its website tools are used on more than 14 million websites around the world. Additionally, the audience targeting tool doesn’t require coding and is available as part of the AddThis Pro subscription.
