Consumers are demanding more rewarding experiences from brands - those that provide such engagement opportunities will not only increase interaction, but are likely the only ones that will achieve success in 2015 and the digital years to come. Fortunately, it's getting much, much easier thanks to some interesting integrations with email marketing platforms.

Mobio Technologies, for example, recently announced the launch of Sailmail, an app for the MailChimp platform (which uses the Strutta Promotions API) that provides users with the ability to run automated giveaways and promotions (offering unique promo codes) with their subscriber lists. After signing up for SailMail, MailChimp users simply set rules (including whether to run weekly or monthly giveaways, how many winners each time, and when to start and stop the giveaway), design the email template for winners (including the promo codes), and select the right MailChimp list. It's an ideal solution for those selling products or service online that want to give away prizes that can be redeemed online.

"What we're most proud of with the SailMail offering is the way the app is built on the newly-completed Strutta Promotions API, which allowed for rapid development and ensures rock-solid performance," said Mike Edwards, CEO of Mobio Technologies Inc. "SailMail is a product that proves the versatility of our platform; not only can it be used to run large-scale contests, competitions and sweepstakes, but it can support rich applications and integrations as well."
