Google has released several new tools the past few months (including "ad customizers" which enable large-scale AdWords users to customize their creative at scale), and just last week launched an update to the AdWords Editor. It's a good time to be in the digital ad business.

Version 11.0 of AdWords Editor is one of the biggest updates since 2006 according to Google, and it brings with it several very powerful new features. AdWords advertisers will now be able to open multiple windows to view different part of their accounts, but more importantly can now manage multiple account at once by opening as many account windows as needed (which can be arranged side by side so users can copy and paste or drag-and-drop items between them.

The AdWords Editor also introduces several new features to help advertisers find what they are looking for including a new panel for selecting type lists, an improved advanced search bar (support multiple search criteria and filters), and has even introduced keyboard shortcuts.

Google also debuted features which make large-scale changes easier. AdWords introduced advanced multi-select functionality which makes it possible to select any combination of campaigns and ad groups to view ads and keywords, and past them into multiple campaigns or ad groups at once.
