As companies look to engage and build bonds with current and new consumers, many have turned to content management systems for help.

Alfresco Software, a provider of enterprise content management (ECM) and business process management (BPM) software, has released various enhancements to its BPM software as well as the availability of Alfresco Analytics and Alfresco Media Management for Alfresco One.

Some of the key enhancements that are now apart of Alfresco’s BPM software include an integration with Alfresco Share, a group collaboration tool that merges its BPM and ECM, a process heatmap to analyze and improve process efficiency and additional languages to help spur global deployments among others. What’s more, users or Alfresco One will now be able to see new insights and reports on how content is being managed and shared through Alfresco Analytics as well as view and edit photos and videos through the Alfresco Media Management module.

“Alfresco is redefining the ECM and BPM markets, bringing business insights into unstructured content and associated business processes,” said Thomas De Meo, vice president of product management at Alfresco.

“Alfresco now makes it possible to analyze and act on vast amounts of information in ways never before possible. By continuing to push the boundaries of the definition of ‘content’ and how companies use it to drive digital business, Alfresco enables organizations to advance well beyond traditional ECM benefits – and instead experience an enterprise-wide modernization of business processes.”
