Square is making the day-to-day lives of its customers even easier with its new “Appointments” app.
According to the company, the app puts the information users need to run their business right at their fingertips. The app, which is currently only available for iOS devices, enables users to manage appointments, access and edit client profiles, accept or decline appointments directly through their iPhone’s notifications screen and complete payments.
“Difficulties with juggling schedules is a pain point we hear a lot from salons, barber shops, health and wellness providers, and other service professionals,” Square said in its announcement. “That’s why we designed Square Appointments, an online booking system that accepts appointments 24 hours a day — making it convenient for you and your clients as well. Already, millions of appointments have been scheduled online through Square.”
It is important to note that the Appointments app is available even for people who don’t process payments with Square. In fact, this app is just the newest option in Square’s lineup of mobile apps, which includes the Square dashboard app and the Square point-of-sale system that is compatible with both Apple and Android devices.
