Work management software Clarizen's latest release aims to provide greater visibility into enterprise performance.
The Summer 2015 release provides new reports and dashboards that can be customized to provide managers and executives different perspectives on the financial and schedule health of projects (including profitability and general project status), but where the platform's release really shines is in its resource-load enhancements.
Users can now perform "what if" analysis by filtering in/out work items to understand the impact of demand changes to a resource's workload; review the full work plan details on the same page as resource load; view resource load data using more display and filtering options (e.g. additional time period flexibility, filter by any attribute, add additional columns of information to the resource list), for a fully centralized resource planning process.
"Better work management starts with better visibility, and the fastest way to visibility is collaboration," said Avinoam Nowogrodski, CEO, Clarizen. "Executives, project managers and team members all need easy access to relevant information, not only to review off-track efforts, but also to properly allocate resources against ever-changing demand. Collaborative work management can only be achieved with visibility within projects and among team members. By simplifying work, businesses can move faster."
