Application platform Caspio has announced the release of its GovCloud Edition, a new offering of its solution that helps U.S. government agencies meet the regulatory and compliance requirements mandated by the U.S. government such as FIPS 140-2 (the Federal Information Processing Standard).
The GovCloud edition, hosted on AWS infrastructure, is designed for U.S. government agencies and contractors moving sensitive data to the cloud (although the solution is available to any organization looking to meet similar requirements).
"The public sector faces unique challenges operating under strict regulations and Caspio has served as a trusted technology partner to our government customers for over 15 years,” said Frank Zamani, Founder and CEO of Caspio. “The new GovCloud Edition further strengthens our offerings to government agencies – helping them transform operations and bring their data management practices into full compliance quickly and cost efficiently.”
Over 100 U.S. government agencies currently leverage on Caspio’s platform, including the U.S. Department of Health & Human Services, the U.S. Government Accountability Office, and the U.S. Office of Personnel Management; over 20 states including New York, Florida, California, Illinois and Georgia; and over 30 cities including New York, Chicago, Los Angeles, and Washington D.C.
