Do you really know why consumers purchased your products? If you did, would it matter to how those products were both developed and marketed in the future? Probably so.

PowerReviews realized this and has released a new offering that will enable brands to capture reviews and real-time insights from their customers immediately following a successful checkout experience.

Content submitted through the Why Did You Buy feature passes first through PowerReviews fraud technology and then a team of human moderators to ensure the content is authentic and fraud-free. After moderation, content is displayed on product pages to help future shoppers understand the purchase intent of their fellow consumers.

The feature (and practice) seems to be working for The North Face, a well-known retailer of performance apparel, equipment, and footwear, which achieved product coverage that was 65 percent higher than using a traditional review display solution alone.
