Lister Launches Three New Software Suites

Software provider Lister E-Business has launched new solution suites for online businesses, including e-marketing, e-commerce and e-services suites.

These solutions are designed to help online businesses grow their customer base, increase revenue, as well as improve customer knowledge and responsiveness.

Here are features of the new suites:

E-marketing - This suite includes tools for data management, campaign implementation and campaign maintenance. These tools are designed to increase customer acquisitions as well as improve marketing efficiency and drive revenue.

E-commerce - This suite includes programs for consulting, re-engineering, platform mechanics, content management and re-marketing, which aim at growing the online business while improving customer experience and loyalty.

E-services - This suite features tools for campaign efficiency, site analytics, performance management and backend integration. This suite helps support online business performance, as well as provides the capability to evolve with business dynamics.

Alfresco CMS Launches Modules Marketplace

Open-source enterprise content management system Alfresco has launched the Alfresco Add-ons Market, which offers extensions for the Alfresco platform that are contributed by the company’s global developer community.

The new marketplace aims to be a one-stop shop for Alfresco users looking to expand the functionality of Alfresco with pre-built modules.

Since its launch, popular modules in the marketplace include Twitter, Yammer, Flickr and YouTube for social business collaboration, as well as other modules for integrations with Google Analytics, Jive and Open Calais, which provides developers with the ability to better manage the Alfresco platform and integrate existing IT systems.

"The Alfresco Add-ons Marketplace showcases the innovation that is happening in the vibrant Alfresco developer community,” says Jeff Potts, chief community officer at Alfresco. “Businesses are looking for content management and collaboration software that is easily molded to suit their unique work styles. Alfresco Add-ons now gives them one place to find modules that they can plug-in to Alfresco, much like plug-ins for Gmail or popular browsers. This flexibility and extensibility ensures that employees are provided with the right tools to do great work."

The marketplace currently offers more than 100 add-ons. The add-ons are also featured in the Alfresco Share dashboard, which is an optional feed that is displayed in the latest release of Alfresco Community 4. The Add-ons Market will replace Alfresco Forge, which is the former destination of early add-on contributions from the community.

Billing Made Simple with Aestiva Professional Software

Software provider Aestiva is officially launching the beta version of Aestiva Time and Billing, a new software system for businesses and professionals that bill clients for services to better manage time tracking, expense tracking and the invoicing process.

Businesses that record and bill for professional time should be well aware of all the different records and reports that have to be taken care of, and Aestiva is attempting to alleviate some of the stress inherent to such a system by releasing this end-to-end product that incorporates electronic timesheets, expense reports and leave requests, while also dealing with project management, reporting, audit trails, approval flows and customer invoicing.

The Web- and cloud-based Aestiva Time and Billing was built on the company's pre-existing Electronic Forms technology and browser-native software environment to offer a flexible system for medium to enterprise-level organizations that can easily integrate with external human resources and accounting systems.

Aestiva Time and Billing also offers additional optional extensions to increase functionality to meet an organization's unique needs. The additional extensions, which can be added a la carte, include multi-language support, offline and union-specific time sheets, ACH interfaces, credit card expense reporting, policy flagging, receipt-imaging via email, pre-travel request and approval flow forms and various accounting interfaces that can integrate with Quickbooks, Mas90, MS Dynamics, PeopleSoft, SAP and more.

The new software will be installed on standard servers, thus requiring no desktop installation and allowing users to access the application through an Intranet or Internet from a browser. The solution can also be hosted on the Web without per-user fees.
