Hivelocity, a provider of dedicated server and Cloud hosting, recently announced the launch of myVelocity, a new customer management portal that aims to simplify the process for users.
myVelocity, which was created in-house by Hivelocity's development team, was made to provide an uncluttered, sleak interface for users and gives them a wide range of account controls, such as server and account management, billing and payment, support access, remote server reboot, service monitoring and more, including "extensive server knowledge base."
The design of the interface is apparently based on many months worth of research about exactly what customers look for in a management portal.
A preview of the new portal was released on the company's Twitter account a few weeks ago, and was followed up by beta testing. There is now a free preview of the interface on the Hivelocity website for non-customers. The company is also already planning a December updata for myVelocity.
