Web hosting provider HostGator will immediately begin offering a mobile website solution from dotMobi to its U.S. customer base.

The gomobi solution from dotMobi offers Hostgator clients a means to quickly create a presence on the mobile Web, similar to the services provided by the likes of DudaMobile and another of our personal favorites in FiddleFly. goMobi offers several interesting features including click-to-call functionality, maps and directions, video and QR code integration, product galleries, e-commerce support and social networking access.

HostGator is going mobile none too late, as more than 95 percent of smartphone users search the Web on their phones, and two-thrids of those searches result in a call or visit to a store according to recent Google research.
