Instinct, the hyped iPhone killer from Sprint will make its debut tomorrow (6/20/08), after a very aggressive marketing campaign. They are hoping that a lower price tag will entice consumers to try their product. With a $100 rebate and a two-year contract, Sprint customers will be able to get the Instinct for $129, about $70 less than the iPhone.
Features of the Instinct not shared with the iPhone include haptic feedback (a sensory way of navigating the touch-screen), a removable battery and GPS navigation with voice commands. Sprint promised (through the press and television ads) a much faster and better browsing experience than the iPhone, but that was before Apple's 3G version was announced.
If you happen to get the Instinct, new iPhone or both, we would love to hear some feedback to pass along to your fellow readers. Email us at info@websitemagazine.com.
