JS-Kit has been around for a little while, but you may not know about them yet. Thanks to a new series of funding totaling $3.6 million, that's about to change. Simply put, JS-Kit gives consumers the tools to interact with your site, your brand by just inserting a few lines of code.
For merchants or service providers, the Advisor tool offers an interesting way to build consumer trust and facilitate transactions. Consumers click or mouse-over a product, individual's name or brand and get a glimpse of consumer reviews, comments or ratings. From the website, "The exact content will depend on the object itself. For example, the info on a
plumbing contractor might contain financial background, bond and judgments
information from Experian, while a stereo or car might show a snapshot of J.D.
Power's product report for that item."
While JS-Kit might not be the sleekest thing in the world, out of sheer
simplicity it's worth a shot. It took literally under one minute to
take a line of code, paste it into a Web page, ask a question of the
audience and start getting votes. For businesses, feedback is
important. Find out what consumers think of your new product, your
customer service, direct users to popular pages, or poll them about
what they would like from you in future offerings. And everything from JS-Kit is free.
