Best Blog Sites?

What are the best sites to host/write a blog on? Which ones get the most traffic and readers? Who has the best tools & format options?

Wordpress.com is the one I like the best. Here you can pick from a great many templates, have some customization, add widgets, ects. If you want to jump right into blogging without a lot of the bull, I suggest this site...and it's free.

If you want to have more control, options and features, the upgraded version is on Wordpress.org which you have to pay for and host. But here you can have control over all the .PHP and CSS and add practically any widget you want.

And make sure for seo purposes, you submit your blog to technorati and other directories. :)

I recommend doing informal research on blog directories/communities. Start with ones which are relevant to your business. Find out who's using those services. Check them for complaints, especially regarding traffic and tools. Make sure you've investigated your options.
