Websites Get a Local Connection

Maintaining your business's local information on the Web is now easier than ever, thanks to the new Pages offering from local marketing cloud company Yext.

Marketers can use Pages to create detailed listings that can be added to their websites with just a snippet of code. Within the Page, marketers can add five different kinds of widgets, including calendars, menus, bios, product lists and social posts. Then, any updates made to the geocontent within Yext Cloud automatically appear not only in the business's listings, but also on social networks and on the business's website.

"We created Pages to bring the local web page back to life. There's no reason why a local page shouldn't be as current as a social network page," Yext's co-founder & CEO Howard Lerman said in a statement on the company's blog. "Today's launch of Pages makes it possible for marketing organizations to deliver their geomarketing from Yext Cloud to the three most important local channels: listings (local search and maps), social, and now their own web and mobile pages."

In addition to the release of Pages, Yext has unveiled international address support for 75 countries and 150 native languages. All of these features are already available for Yext users.
