The ad blocking phenomenon is much worse in some countries than others. In the United States, for example, the current ad blocking percentage is 31.5 percent while in Norway it is 50.7 percent (the first major ad market to cross teh 50 percent mark).
The data reported by Blockmetry's data is as the percentage of pageviews, not users, and excludes requests from bots and browsers that have Javascript disabled.
There is some good news. While there were some significant increases and the data does show an upward trend, there was a mix between growth, flat and decline in content blocking in different countries and regions. Also, Southeast Asia shows small decerases in ad blocking compared to the Blockmetry's May weather report.
