3dcart Eases the Shipping Headache

Posted on 11.11.2013

3dcart has formed a new partnership that aims at making the shipping process less of a headache for e-commerce merchants.

The partnership is with cloud-based shipping solution ShippingEasy, which offers discounted USPS postage and streamlines the shipping process for merchants, including both returns and exchanges.

ShippingEasy’s integration with 3dcart populates order, tracking and fulfillment data in real-time. In fact, the ShippingEasy software syncs new orders from a merchant’s 3dcart store(s) and assigns shipping preferences, rates and delivery options. Plus, merchants can print shipping labels and branded packing slips without the need to export data or cut-and-paste information into third-party applications. Tracking numbers and delivery status are also auto-populated in ShippingEasy and the merchant’s store(s).

“Shipping can be a serious pain point for online retailers. ShippingEasy solves this with an out-of-the box solution suitable for merchants of all sizes. Our integration with 3dcart provides store owners with a multi-carrier system that downloads orders seamlessly and then sends back real time order status updates and tracking numbers from USPS, UPS and FedEx,” says Katie May, CEO of ShippingEasy. “The time savings are almost as good as the savings on USPS postage.”
