3dcart Helps Merchants Manage PLAs

3dcart is helping merchants increase their online sales with the launch of a new Managed Google Shopping product for Product Listing Ads (PLAs).

The product provides merchants with a team of 3dcart Search Marketing professionals that are trained on how to maximize advertising campaigns and generate a positive return on investment. In general, PLAs perform pretty well, with research from IgnitionOne finding that the click-through rate for PLAs during 2013 was higher than the click-through rate for text-based pay-per-click ads.

“E-commerce store owners want to have their individual items displayed within Google search results when someone searches for them, but most either don’t have the time or the knowledge to setup and continually monitor the campaigns,” according to Joe Palko, chief marketing officer. “By having our team manage this advertising channel, the store owner can concentrate on running other parts of the business while our experts work to drive sales.”

Through the product, the 3dcart team submits product feeds to Google, creates ad campaigns, manages the feed to optimize ad spend, installs tracking scripts and code, and provides support via email and telephone. It is important to note that the product requires merchants to conduct a one-time account setup, which costs $199 and is followed by a monthly recurring charge of $99.
