71% of Marketers Will Increase Content Marketing Budgets

Content marketing was one of the digital darlings of 2013 and it's expected to have an even more impressive 2014.

A new report from Curata reveals that most marketers (71 percent) are planning to increase their content marketing budgets in 2013. One-quarter of respondents indicated they will keep their content marketing budgets the same this year, while just four percent indicated they would decrease their spend on the tactic.  

When it comes to the priorities that marketers place on content marketing, driving sales and leads topped the list, following closely by engaging customers, buyers, and influencers.
