Digg Gets Universal
Popular social networking/tagging site Digg has undergone a redesign. Taking a page from Google, the most significant change is the inclusion of video and news to the "All" page. This is yet another reminder of the importance of optimizing and creating content across all channels to promote your website - video, blogs, news, images ...
Other new features of the Digg update include easy-to-use drop down menus and the ability to "bury" (vote down stories you don't like) without having to provide an explanation - and that should not be overlooked. It just got much easier for your content to get lost on Digg, meaning your posts will need to carry more weight. When a user can click a mouse instead of writing out an explanation it becomes easier to bury other people's (and competitor's) content.
