Big Week For LinkShare Affiliate Network
Pay-per-action marketing network LinkShare has announced that it has been selected by MSN Shopping to provide coupons and special shopping offers. Through its Showcase Offer Access, a new service, LinkShare will distribute advertisers' offers to the MSN shopping site, as well as MSN's syndication partners.
"MSN Shopping is one of the most highly trafficked sites on the Internet, so it's crucial for advertisers to show up prominently when shoppers are looking for a product," said Steve Denton, president at LinkShare. "LinkShare is providing our advertisers that heightened exposure and distribution on MSN Shopping virtually risk-free since they only pay when shoppers take action with their coupons or special shopping offers."
There are also quite a few notable improvements to the LinkShare system which will be of great interest to affiliates:

There are also quite a few notable improvements to the LinkShare system which will be of great interest to affiliates:
- FlexLinks was released which is an ability for publishers to post a video, widget, flash (any clickable object) provided by advertisers on a site and earn commission.
- LinkLocator 2.0 is an XML data feed which gives affiliate publishers th e ability to access updated promotions and products and manually create links.
- Mobile Links is a new technology for tracking mobile commerce. With
Mobile Links, you can now tap into the rapidly growing mobile consumer
market and track mobile transactions on a pay-per-action basis.
