Marin Pays Big to Amp Up Social Advertising

As advertiser look to increase their impact among consumers, many are turning to social media to do so. Yet, in order to know whether their ads are connecting with consumers advertisers must leverage a powerful social media tool.

Marin Software, a provider of a cross-channel advertising cloud service, recently announced they have signed an agreement to acquire SocialMoov, a France-based social advertising platform.

For those who do not know, SocialMoov focuses in on helping advertisers maximize their engagement and return on investment (ROI) on Facebook and Twitter. To help advertisers get the most out of their social efforts, SocialMoov has a variety of features including bid management as well as post scheduling features. Also, to provide their users with a comprehensive platform they also provide dynamic and live reporting, which allows advertisers to understand how their ads are performing and adjust them on the fly.

The deal is expected to be worth $18.75 million.
