A study by Web security company Acunetix has revealed that a large number of websites are open to hacking - 70% with either a medium or high risk. In all, 3,200 sites were scanned last year. What's worse, the study showed that upwards of 91% of the sites revealed some form of site vulnerability.

Nothing will kill your website faster than if consumers feel unsafe. It's a constant struggle to ensure customers and prospects that your site is safe - especially when competing with the Amazon.com and eBay's of the world. Don't miss Website Magazine's February issue, that includes an article on website security.
