OmniFocus for iPhone Will Use GPS-enabled To-Do Lists
Let the app party begin for the new iPhone! Now enabled with GPS, you're about to see some truly useful apps for everyday, on-the-go life. OmniFocus has one of them ready to go, as soon as the app store opens in July.
It works like this: You enter tasks either by text, photo or voice recording. You can do this through your iPhone or on your Mac and sync it both ways. Then, using the iPhone GPS, you can pull up a list of actions that you entered that can be completed with nearby resources. Need to shop for groceries, the app will let you know when you're near a grocery store - it will also show you the nearby electronics store because picking up a new skin for your iPhone is also on the list.
Pretty impressive. The uses for GPS on a mobile device is only going to keep growing and the developers are ready to knock your socks off.
