Tool-Of-The-Day: AdFlint from Engine Ready
The good thing about attending trade shows like Search Engine Strategies and PubCon is that you get to learn about the tools and solutions that are changing the way the Web works first hand from the people that develop them.
Adflint is an excellent little tool created by EngineReady that helps advertisers test their ads and create more effecitve Google Adwords listings. The challenge is that when you are creating ads through the current interface, you cant see what the other advertisers are saying in their ad copy - in essence you're blind copywriting. AdFlint changes all that.
Once you download the tool (free) just launch the application. The tool enables advertisers to preview the live search results and customize their sponsored listing directly through the application. The advantage is that SEM's can see firt hand what their advertisers are saying in their ad-copy. Advertisers can then post the ad that was just created directly to their Adwords account. Pretty sweet.
"It's not something that will revolutionize PPC, but it will help you make incremental improvements and develop ads that stand out from your competitors," said Brian Lewis of Engine Ready.
