Going on Safari; Apple Browser on Windows

Posted on 6.11.2007
As if you didn't have enough choices of browsers for your Windows machine, you can now add Apple's Safari to the mix. The public beta of Safari 3 starts today and it's not just for Mac users anymore.

I put Safari through its paces early this morning and in addition to its rather elegant user interface I was most impresed with its performance (pretty darn fast). Safari also provides some notable features (some of which you've come to expect if you keep your finger on the pulse of the browser wars) including bookmarks, pop-up blocking, tabbed browing, built-in RSS, private browsing and a whole lot more.

This is the second browser I've blogged about in the last week (Netscape Navigator 9) but it's is an important development as you should definitely take a look to see how your page renders for end-users that are using this or any other browser.
