Useful Web Browsing and Text Editing Shortcuts
Wake Up Later (an informative blog about Web freelancing, Online income and sleeping late) has posted some very helpful Web browsing shortcuts and text editing shortcuts - useful for work-related multitasking or for those with a hint of ADHD when surfing the 'Net. Some are old standards (using the right click of a mouse) while others may not be so well-known (using CTRL + ENTER to load URLs faster). Anyway, there are some real gems here to check out.
And from the peanut gallery (user comments) here are a couple more:
wooptoo says, Firefox: Ctrl + Shift + T = reopen the last closed tab. This is very useful and it works between sessions too :)
Stefan says, Text editing: I've recently discovered that you can also use the Ctrl key to quickly delete a word. Ctrl + Backspace to delete the previous word and Ctrl + Del to delete the next word (like Backspace and Delete are for characters). No text selecting is involved so this is a bit faster.
