WordPress Security Release: Popular blog software WordPress yesterday released two security-related releases for users of its main 2.2 branch and the legacy 2.0 branch. These releases include only security and minor bugfixes and should not cause any plugin or theme compatibility issues.
Amazon Launches Payment Service: Amazon launched a new Web payment service today called Amazon Flexible Payments Service. People will be able to pay using their Amazon login credentials and Amazon will charge 2.9% plus $0.30 per transaction. Built and designed for developers, the system is expected to compete directly with PayPal and Google Checkout.
Google releases AdWords Editor 4.0: Google released another version of its campaign management application which includes support for mobile ads, the ability to post changes to selected campaigns, custom date ranges for performance stats and the ability to update negative keywords along with regular keywords.
