A Look at Wix's Multi-Layered Social Super Bowl Campaign

Wix is ready for the Super Bowl, and to prove it the Web development platform has unveiled the extended, made-for-Web version of its 30-second Super Bowl commercial.

The commercial features former NFL stars like Brett Favre, Terrell Owens, Emmitt Smith, Franco Harris and Larry Allen as they launch new businesses and create websites for those businesses.

To get the most of its Super Bowl campaign, Wix is promoting the hashtag #ItsThatEasy and has been gradually releasing video teasers, photos contests and more to create a multi-layered social campaign that engages fans leading up to and after the big day. Moreover, Wix has built a Web and social presence for each of the players featured in the commercial as a way to market the fictional businesses introduced in the ad the same way a real small business would.
