Adobe Enhances its Mobile Services
New mobile apps are available for purchase every day. Yet, developers would be wise to remember that just because their app is available to the public, it does not mean that their work is done.
Web tech powerhouse Adobe has recently unveiled new enhancements to its Adobe Mobile Services.
A Core Service in the Adobe Marketing Cloud, Mobile Services enables developers to not only create their apps but also take them through the user acquisition and optimization process by leveraging “partner ecosystems” in the Marketing Cloud including Adobe Experience Manager, PhoneGap Enterprise and Analytics among others.
Also, to help app developers in the user acquisition process Adobe has recently announced a partnership with Fiksu, a mobile marketing platform. Furthermore, Adobe also partnered with another mobile marketing platform, called Vibes, to deliver contextually relevant ads for those users that leverage Apple Passbook and Google Wallet.
“Adobe Digital Index data shows a new record in the use of mobile devices and yet, building a successful mobile app experience today remains a mystery for many marketers,” said Matt Asay, vice president of Mobile Strategy at Adobe. “They struggle to synthesize a myriad of different mobile tools that address very specific needs. With Adobe Mobile Services, we will dramatically simplify this process, making it easy for marketers to build and optimize their apps.”
