AdSense Design Changes in Focus

As users' digital experiences become increasingly cross-device, advertisers and marketers must adapt their creative assets to ensure the optimal performance - nobody (users and brands alike) wants a hard to read advertisement.

Google just announced that they are updating the design of their ads ads to "strengthen their performance and make them more consistent and easy to read across devices."

Text ads appearing on the Google Display Network have been designed for better readability and now feature a new default color palette of blue and grey. The default font has also been updated to Roboto which aligns the text ad font with the web font used on Google's Android OS. The most significant development however is that of the change to the call-to-action button which provide a tap target size and position which are now more user friendly (much larger in some instances - see below) than before.
