Advocates Bring Recommendations to the Shopping Cart

Needle, a customer engagement platform, has recently unveiled its new Advocate-Assisted Shopping Cart.

Through the new feature Needle advocates as well as shoppers are able to add products into the shopping cart directly from the Needle chat window. There are a variety of features included in the Advocate-Assisted Shopping Cart including dual transparency, which enables both advocates and shoppers to have a shared view of the shopping cart, and Customized Basket Build, which allows advocates to proactively suggest other relevant products to shoppers and custom build their shopping carts.

Other features available through the Advocate-Assisted Shopping Cart include the ability to apply unique promo codes that are time-based as well as an improved mobile interface that now displays shopping cart contents now appear directly in mobile users chat windows.

“If a customer wants a customized driver, I can now create it specifically for them and place it in their cart,” said Jackson Sveen, a TaylorMade advocate at Needle. “Shoppers don’t have to do heavy shopping or browsing any more. They can tell advocates exactly what they need, and we can help customize their order and send them directly to checkout.”
