How to alternate "link to us" code...

Encouraging other websites to link to your digital property is no simple task.

Not only do you have to convince them that it's the right thing to do (because of all that value you're providing of course) but you also need to make it easy. The problem is, for most Web workers, it's not easy. Many Web professionals today couldn't find their way around a string of code if their virtual life depended on it.

When you can provide the code neccessary for others to link to your site however, you've made some serious headway on acquiring the links your website's search engine optimization campaign requires to thrive.

To make it really , really simple, below you'll find a javascript file which can be included on your server, that will alternate HTML text which can be used by others when linking to your website. To ensure that your link profile looks natural to search engines, make sure to switch up your anchor text regularly within the javascript file.

Follow these steps:

- Download the file here (right click and save then rename the file and the extension to .js); upload it to your Web server (ideally in a seperate file to maintain organization) - you'll find five areas you can modify with your own link, title and anchor text.

- Sample of the code to place in the header of your page:

- Use the following anywhere within the body of your HTML document
(please note that we've applied some basic styling which can be removed and replaced by a seperate CSS reference):
